About

I’m Matthew Elmore—a professional aviator, software developer, and lifelong learner with over 20 years of military and civilian flight experience. I retired as a Major in the U.S. Air Force, where I served as both an intelligence professional and aircraft commander flying high-performance ISR platforms. Now a First Officer with United Airlines and a passionate iOS developer, I combine precision flying with a problem-solving mindset to build tech that improves workflow and enhances decision-making. Whether in the cockpit or behind the code, I’m driven by curiosity, clarity, and purpose.

Aviation

My career spanned two decades, evolving from enlisted intelligence analyst to flight instructor, U-2 aircraft commander, and decorated Major leading high-stakes global missions across multiple aircraft platforms.
